- Passed away in Indianapolis, IN
- Predeceased by Edwin & Margrete Hupe
Betty began her life in the Needmore Ranger Station near Ekalaka, Montana where her Father was the park Ranger. He passed away when She was eight, and she and her mother moved back to Indiana, where she grew up on the family farm.
Betty graduated from Hartford City High School & Indiana University with a BSc in Hospital Dietetics. She was a Home Economics educator in the Indianapolis Public School District for 28 years & retired from teaching in the Marion County Juvenile Center in 1984. She has been an active & faithful Member of Lawrence United Methodist Church, Delta Zeta Sorority, Alpha Delta Kappa Sorority, & many social groups.
Memories of Betty will be cherished by her loving husband of 63 years, Ken, daughters Beth Titus (Charles) and Brenda Potter, and son Ken (Gail), 6 grandchildren, and many, many friends.
